How we found our Wings

The story behind our company lies at the heart of the paragliding experience. A few years back, I tried a tandem flight at the Girdwood Resort, forty miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. The thrill sent a shock through every one of my senses, prompting my travels to Baja, Mexico to become a paraglider. Upon my return from the skies, I searched high and low for a paragliding t-shirt. I soon realized that unlike most of the other new-age sports, such as snowboarding, surfing, skate and wakeboarding, the paragliding community was lacking in one department. I couldn't find a company that made clothing for paragliders; something unique with which to distinguish ourselves. It wasn't until 2002, when I met the co-founder of Paradrenaline, that we hit upon the idea of a paragliding clothing company. Paradrenaline was realized shortly thereafter.
